It’s time for the two R’s: Reptiles and reading! And we’re going to throw in an “S,” too – “spiders”!
Kids ages 10 and younger can join us for TCHS’ Readin’ Reptiles and Stellar Spiders! It will be at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Tri-County Humane Society.
We’ll have a drawing for a reptile-themed book, then kids will get to interact with a snake, a bearded dragon, and a tarantula. (The tarantula will be just be for looking, not touching.)
A parent/adult must accompany the child; seating is limited, so sign up soon! (Sign up by stopping at the shelter, calling Volunteer Coordinator Kate Kompas at 320-252-0896, ext. 27, or emailing her at volunteer@tricountyhumanesociety.org.) It is suggested donation of $5 per family.
