With eBay for Charity, you can support your favorite charities when you sell items on eBay.
Sellers have two options when listing items to benefit charities on eBay:
Community Selling: Donate up to 100% of your final sales price to support your chosen charities. While entering your products for sale, select Tri-County Humane Society in the Make a Donation section.
Direct Selling: You can associate an eBay username with a specific charity. -
Choose "Tri-County Humane Society Education” as the beneficiary of your "More Rewards" school points.
Workplace Giving & Employee Matching Grants
Workplace giving campaigns such as United Way or Combined Federal Campaigns and matching grant programs are in many companies throughout our area, and they offer an easy and efficient way to donate to your favorite cause. If your workplace participates in campaign giving or if they offer matching grants for employee gifts, please designate the Tri-County Humane Society to be the recipient of your donations, and encourage your co-workers to do the same! By doing so you will be saving lives.

Making a charitable contribution by giving the gift of appreciation stock is a wonderful way to support the Tri-County Humane Society (TCHS) while potentially gaining income tax benefits. We suggest consulting with your tax professional or financial advisor to understand the specifics as they apply to your situation. Give Through Your IRA
Making a gift from your IRA not only helps the Tri-County Humane Society but will also help you fulfill your required minimum distribution. This type of gift, called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), ensures that you pay no income taxes on the amount you designate because the transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction (up to $100,000). This is a benefit even if you do not itemize your deductions. To make such a gift, you must be 70 ½ years of age or older. If you decide to gift in this manner, please ask your financial advisor to include your name and address with your gift, which will help us ensure you are properly credited and recognized for your donation.
