Once a request is received the request will be appropriately noted in the password safe data base and the actions necessary to fully comply with the request will be immediately undertaken to indicate within the data base which mailings and contacts are to cease and to thereafter cease sending any such unauthorized mailings and/or making any such unauthorized contacts.
The Tri-County Humane Society respects the privacy of its donors. We do not sell or exchange any individual donor information.
Tri-County Humane Society is committed to ensuring the security of your personal information. Your credit card information, it is accessible only to a small number of trusted employees who have been specially trained in processing this information. Online donations are processed through the secure sites PayPal and Heartland Payment Systems. Checks are secured in a lock box until they are deposited. Deposits to the bank are made several times a week.
What Information We Collect and How We Use That Information:
Our forms (donation, adoption, surrender and applications) require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, address, interests, and similar information. This information is kept in a password secured database. We do not store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card numbers. TCHS uses your information to complete a transaction, communicate back to you, and update you on foundation happenings.
