It's been a little more than three months since Tri-County Humane Society took in 94 cats from a home in Crosby with the aid of Minnesota Federated Humane Societies.
We are happy to report that 51 Crosby cats have been adopted since then! As of press time for this newsletter, we still have three Crosby cats waiting for homes (clockwise, from top): Jet 61, Jonas 86, and Estelle 68. We’re hopeful they’ll be on our “adopted” list very soon.
Here's a snapshot of the Crosby cat outcomes:
>> 2 were returned to their owners
>> 51 were adopted into loving homes
>> 4 died on their own despite our best efforts
>> 34 were humanely euthanized due to serious health issues
>> 3 remain available for adoption
Considering the severity of the conditions these cats came from, we are pleased so many have bright new beginnings. Thank you to all who helped support these cats with donations, adoptions, volunteering, and sharing the information about them. We couldn’t do this work without you!
