TCHS in the News!

Our team works with the news media and digital partners to raise awareness of companion animal care and humane education. If you are a member of the media and wish to discuss this with us, please call 320-252-0896 or email us at pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org.

COVID-19 Update

To all our supporters: Tri-County Humane Society, effective immediately, will be limiting our flow of public traffic due to Covid-19. We love having visitors, but for the time being, we will be open only to members of the public who are looking to adopt, surrender a pet by appointment, or purchase supplies from our Re-Tail Shoppe (pets need to eat, of course!).  We are still adopting out animals – in fact, so many people must stay home now anyway this may be a good time for some households to adopt.

Thank you for following this guidance and helping keep our staff and our volunteers safe – the animals need them to be healthy! While it feels a little counter to our mission of openness and inviting our community in, we want to keep everyone’s safety a priority. (Staff and volunteers who are in an at-risk group or who are feeling ill are being told to stay home.)

As far as upcoming TCHS special events, all plans are pending now.  This situation is changing by the minute, so please stay tuned to us for updates.

Thank you for being a friend to the animals.
