Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Comet

Comet spends her time watching birds and cuddling with her human. In short, the purr-fect life.

Comet is a spayed 4-year-old cat who came to TCHS in April. She was described as “an independent spirit with a gentle heart, just looking for the right orbit to call home.” Comet found that home a few weeks after her arrival.

“She’s settling in very well. She loves watching the birds in the window and playing with the wand. Sometimes she crawls into my lap and demands pets, and sometimes she falls asleep immediately. Comet loves treats and greeting guests by the door. I'm very happy to have her.”

We are so happy the stars aligned for Comet and her human!
