Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Cinderella

Going from a shelter to a home must be an incredible experience for adoptees. Even when the shelter provides excellent care and enrichment, we know it's not the same as a home. The kitten Cinderella arrived at Tri-County Humane Society in March and waited only five days to find her fairy tale castle. It’s been a true love story since!

“We are totally in love with Cinderella,” writes one of her humans. “She is the sweetest, most gentle, loving kitten ever.”

And her family shared that Cinderella, who is now about 5 months old, is growing so big! “She’s the perfect companion for our family.” She fits like a glass slipper!

And they lived happily ever after.
