Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Metallica

This adoption story simply rocks. Metallica, a 2-year-old cat, came to Tri-County Humane Society with kittens in mid-February. She was adopted soon after her arrival.

“Metallica is by far the sweetest cat I’ve ever met,” her new human writes. “She’s super loving and always wants to be by my side. She is the best conversationalist and can always make me smile. She gives the most amazing snuggles, and she loves everybody she meets. Adopting her was by far the easiest and best choice I’ve made in a long time. She has truly saved my life.”

When you get an update as great as this, nothing else matters – Metallica’s story is music to our ears!
