Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Moo, now Hank

Holy cow: This guy went from stray cat to beloved family member in udderly no time!

The 2-year-old stray cat we called Moo came to Tri-County Humane Society in April and was adopted in May. His new name is Hank, he gets along great with his new feline sister!

“He’s been quite the little explorer. He’s very curious and seems to have endless energy,” his new human writes. “His favorite toys are string toys and anything with feathers on it. His favorite napping spots are the desk and on the couch. Hank also loves watching out the window and smelling the fresh air.”

Continue to be a good boy, Hank - and keep exploring!
