Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Hiroyuki

This adoption story is a sweet tale about a 1-year-old cat named Hiroyuki, formerly known as Honey. Hiroyuki arrived at the shelter in late February and found his new home a few weeks later. His new humans say he’s doing “amazing.”

“He’s crazy energetic and a master at catching poof balls in the air. His sister is still getting used to him, but they are doing great.”

They added that Hiroyuki is in good health, too, having gotten over a double ear infection, and he’s put on some needed weight.

“Thank you for all you do and for bringing this amazing, wonderful gift of a kitty into our family,” his humans wrote.

It’s our pleasure!
