Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Boo!

Today, we have only a treat for this Howl-o-Ween adoption story, absolutely no tricks!

Boo is a now 2-year-old cat who arrived at Tri-County Humane Society in mid-January. He found his home two weeks later – and his new home loves him so much, it’s almost scary!

“He’s so playful and LOUD – he’s the most talkative buddy. He’s a cuddle bug and loves to be carried like a baby.” One of Boo’s favorite pastimes is to go on walks with his doggie sibling, Nova – they love hunting for moths together.

The spook-tacular part: “I can’t think of a better addition to my family.”

“Animals like crows and black cats are not ominous at all; it is the men’s superstitious mind which is the inauspicious one.”  Mehmet Murat Ildan
