Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Moose

At Tri-County Humane Society, we never tire of hearing good feedback or positive reviews. The adopters who submitted this adoption story gave us one that we think you could safely call a rave!

Moose is a 3-year-old cat who came to TCHS in early May; after only a few weeks, he met his new family. Moose kept his name, but he gained a new doggie brother named Cassius, and he has been a standout companion to the tiny humans in the home.

“His favorite toy around the house has been a hair tie. He spends his nights cuddled in bed with us and mornings chatting away at the birds and squirrels through the window! He is so, so patient and loving towards our young children and loves to just be close to them whenever he can. We seriously couldn’t have found a better fit for our family. Thank you for bringing him into our lives!”

“Having somewhere to go is home. Having someone to love is family. And having both is a blessing.”  Unknown
