Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Buster

This is the time of year that, for obvious reasons (Easter and hopefully, one day, a true spring) that we have bunnies on our brains! This adoption story is about a little guy who hopped his way into a fantastic new home. Buster, who is now almost 2 years old, came to Tri-County Humane Society in late October; by Thanksgiving, he had a new human!

“Buster loves to run around the house supervised and gets the zoomies. He does lots of happy jumps in the air.  He is a sweet but sassy rabbit that loves attention and to be petted. He loves food and likes toys he can carry in his mouth. He doesn't love to be held but will let you cuddle him on occasion.  He is very spoiled and loved.”

"I still believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and true love. Don't even try to tell me different." Dolly Parton
