Uno, now Robinhood

Once upon a time, kitten season used to take place from the springtime to the fall. Now it seems it’s 12 months long! But rather than complain about it, we’ll keep spaying and neutering all the cats we can and celebrate the adoptions of the kittens whom we helped find homes.

This adoption story is about one of those kittens who came to the shelter in early August after being found outside; she was adopted soon after, and she now has a fairy-tale life – and a fictional folk hero’s name!

“Robinhood has been the definition of a perfect family cat. We love that she always wants to be right in the middle of the action, whether it's playing toys, snuggling on the couch, watching birds in our screened-in porch or even taking a bath with our children. She lives a great life with plenty of pets, treats, and sunbeams to lay in. She fits right into our busy and active lifestyle and brings us so much joy. Our 4-year-old fell in love with her the moment he saw her at Tri-County Humane Society, and she was definitely meant to come home with us.”

No Sherwood Forest for this kitty – Robinhood is happy in her home!

“If there is one spot of sun spilling onto the floor, a cat will find it and soak it up.”  J.A. McIntosh
