At Tri-County Humane Society, a dog’s breed is often a guess – an educated guess, but a guess no less! So it’s always fun to hear from adopters who share results of their TCHS alum’s DNA results. The dog in this adoption story came to us as a tiny puppy, whom we listed as a Lab Retriever mix. It turns out, he’s mostly German Shepherd, but he has quite a few other breeds in his profile, too. One thing’s for sure: Pecan is 100 lucky puppy! Pecan found his home early this year. His new family is nuts over him!
“He loves bedtime (starts walking to the bedroom if I say ‘bedtime,’ LOL), he loves his human brother, he gives him lots of kisses to wake him up and even more when he gets home from school! He's very vocal and loves to talk back (we actually found out he's got some Husky in him so that may be where he gets that.” Pecan’s favorite activities include car rides (don’t even think of leaving home without him) and watching Disney movies with his human brother.
