TCHS Veterans Fund

Veterans Can Adopt TCHS Animals Thanks to Donation

Tri-County Humane Society is proud to announce we again have a Veterans Fund for TCHS adoptions thanks to a generous donor. John Moline, who served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, is a St. Cloud resident and a dog lover who wanted to give back to his fellow veterans. John’s recent donation re-established a fund that will allow veterans to “name their own price” on a TCHS animal of their choice. The fund will be used to offset the balance of the animal’s adoption fee after the veteran chooses their price. The promotion will be in place for veterans until the funds are exhausted.

If you would like to donate to keep the fund going, you can donate through this link, or by sending a donation to TCHS, P.O. Box 701, St. Cloud MN 56302. (Please make sure it notes it’s for the Veterans Fund.) Or you can always make your donation in person at the shelter during business hours; just make sure to note it’s for the Veterans Fund. A few things to note:

  • The Veterans Fund is for only the veteran to adopt for themselves, not for friends, family members, etc.
  • TCHS will ask for government-issued proof of military service for the veteran to use the fund.
  • A veteran may use the fund only once per year.

To John and all veterans, Tri-County Humane Society thanks you for your service!

All active military members qualify for 25 percent discount on TCHS animals 1 year and older!
