Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Major Tom

This adoption story subject got an out-of-this-world home – and they’re not ashamed to admit he’s galactically spoiled!

Major Tom arrived at Tri-County Humane Society in late January. Fitting for this purrfect love story, he found his home on Valentine’s Day. His new home says he’s adjusted fantastically.

“He's a snuggle bug, and he's eating really well,” his human writes. “My daughter has spoiled us with everything we could ever want or need via Amazon. He is very loved, and he has made my house a home!”

We're beyond the moon excited for Major Tom and his new family!
