Tri-County Humane Society adopts out mostly dogs and cats, but our Small Animal Room is a busy place, too!
This adoption story is about one of the smallest residents we hosted last year: Pauly the gerbil!
She came to the shelter in mid-November 2023 and was adopted about a week later.
“Pauly has been a great addition to my home. She was a little shy at first, but I am earning her trust as she has learned that I am a great treat dispenser. Her favorites are sunflower and pumpkin seeds. She also has lots of fun running on her wheel, taking sand baths, and playtime outside of the tank.”
Little Pauly is having big-time fun – thank you to her new human for adopting her (and for being a top-notch treat dispenser).
“The smaller the creature, the bolder its spirit.” Suzy Kassem
