Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  This is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Share Your TCHS Adoption Story:  email your story with photos to pets@tricountyhumanesociety.org or message us on our Facebook page for future publication. We love to hear how our alumni are doing!

Bubby, now Signor Giuseppe di Sardinia

“La vita e bella” – or life is beautiful – for this adoptee!

The 2-year-old cat then known as Bubby arrived at Tri-County Humane Society in mid-October 2023. He was adopted about a week later, and he has a new name, and it’s a substantial one – he’s “Signor Giuseppe di Sardinia, the Italian gentleman.”

“He had a difficult first couple of weeks with a cone and respiratory infection, but we got him all sorted out with our vet,” his human writes. “Now he is his regular adorable, playful, cuddly little self. … Thank you, Tri-County Humane Society, for my loveable fur-ever friend!”

“Grazie” to the adopter, too! And be a “buon gatto,” Signor Giuseppe di Sardinia.
