Get a behind-the-scenes look at life at the shelter!

We would love to walk your group through the shelter's many rooms (including non-public areas), introduce you to animals available for adoption, and fill you in on what we do and the many needs of our shelter.

Shelter tours can focus on humane education and may cover topics as varied as pet care tips, dog bite prevention, safety with animals, and pet overpopulation statistics.

Tours are generally given to groups of 10 or fewer; however, with enough notice, we can sometimes make accommodations and split up attendees into smaller groups. TCHS typically gets requests for tours from youth groups, but we're having to show around anyone for a scheduled tour.

To schedule a tour, please call Volunteer Coordinator Olivia Schomer at (320) 371-0736.
