If an animal already has a loving home, TCHS wants them to stay there! That's why we opened a Pet Food Pantry to assist pet owners who may need a little help.

Pet owners who are in need may grab a bag of food for their pets from our Pet Food Pantry, located inside our For Pets' Sake Thrift store (see hours below). There is a mix of full and partial bags divided by cat or dog food. We suggest taking no more than one bag per visit, but the customer may take what is needed for their household. 

All donations of pet food to TCHS are sorted by staff and earmarked for TCHS animals first. We often do need food donations for our animals - particularly high-quality dry kitten or all-life stages food during "kitten season," or special/prescription diets for cats and dogs. When we have an excess of pet food, that goes to the pantry. Food will be in the pantry as long as we have available supplies.

For Pets' Sake Thrift is located next to our shelter at 735 8th St. NE St. Cloud, MN 56304. It is open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12-6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5 p.m.  It is closed on holidays, and hours are subject to volunteer availability.
