Roscoe Lee

Today’s Feel Good Fur-Day is a love story between a patient human and an obsessed cat – but his human is just as enamored with him – “that’s my boy!”
Rosco (then called Dinghy) arrived at Tri-County Humane Society in early May 2024 at the young age of a month old. He and the rest of his litter, all named with a boat theme, spent time in foster care to grow up a bit. It was through his foster home that the love connection was made. The soon-to-be adopter knew the foster family, and when they called saying they had kittens, she couldn’t resist.
“I went over there and instantly fell in love with this boy.”
The family adopted Rosco in May 2024. Now he’s almost 2 years old, and he is a big fan of his older cat brother, Jinx, as well as his dog siblings. “The day we adopted Rosco Lee and brought him home, him and Jinx instantly clicked. Jinx didn’t hiss, bite, or swat at him. Instead, he cleaned him, showed him the dos and don’ts of the house, and was a role model. And, trust me, this is very surprising.”
He loves his people, too. Especially his mom. “Rosco Lee is the biggest momma’s boy there ever was. Any chance that he can get, he tries and plays with mom.” And mom happily obliges!
Rosco Lee even gets to see his former foster family! They live near his new home and take care of him when his family goes on vacation. “Rosco Lee is a very happy, spoiled little man.”
