Pecan finds a home (and a new friend)!
Pecan was born in one of our foster homes and waited almost 9 months before he found his new home.
“Here is Pecan (on right) together with his new mate and friend Jazz. It took them only an hour over two short days to bond. Jazz was my rabbit and I got Pecan from Tri-County Humane Society. It has been such a blessing for Jazz as well as for Pecan. I was very happy when Jazz took to Pecan in such a quick bond and they are now best of friends. I had them in the same pen but put a baby gate in between them so they could get used to each other’s scent and smells. I did this after I got Pecan for about a month and during that time he got fixed by the humane society. He was isolated for a week until he was healed and then back with her but still separated till I knew he was completely healed. Now they are good friends and a bonded pair. Thanks TCHS for getting him fixed. He is mellowing out and is fitting in just fine. Please share this if you can. Thanks again for everything that you have done as he is in his forever home with his new rabbit friend and mate.” Tracy R.
