Pawlie, now Luna
Every Tri-County Humane Society alum is above average, of course, but there are those who go the extra mile with training (and growing!) The Shepherd mix puppy known as “Pawlie” arrived via Leech Lake Legacy in September 2024. Now 1.5 years old, she’s named Luna, and she’s 90 pounds!
“You gave us a giant!” her human writes. Luna is training to be a service dog and working toward completing her Canine Good Citizen test. She loves training, playing tug/fetch, walking to Caribou to get pup cups, and getting the snow zoomies. She even got to reunite and visit with her littermate Koda!
“Luna has an amazing temperament – there isn’t a cat, dog, person or critter she isn’t friendly to! She loves doing anything with Mom and Dad.”
