Tri-County Humane Society is proud to be one of the collaborators in the Minnesota Pet Coalition’s efforts to ensure victim-survivors don’t have to choose between their pets and their safety.

Minnesota Pet Coalition (MNPC) is a collaboration of the Twin Cities' largest domestic violence organizations (Women’s Advocates and Tubman) and four animal welfare nonprofits (Tri-County Humane Society, The Bond Between, Four Winds Connections, and Animal Humane Society.) The Minnesota Pet Coalition is seeking compassionate foster volunteers in the St. Cloud area to help both people and pets find safety.

The greatest need is for foster homes willing to provide temporary care for pets while their guardians seek safety, healing, legal support, and stable housing. Foster opportunities include:

• Short-term fostering (up to 72 hours)
• Long-term fostering (up to 90 days)

MNPC provides comprehensive support for every foster placement, including food, veterinary care, behavioral support, supplies, training, enrichment, and assistance when pets are reunited with their families.
