Melon was originally born in one of our foster homes back in March of 2016. Since then, he’s had 4 additional stays at our shelter in search of the perfect match. Most recently, Melon came to us as a stray on 4/28/18 and was not claimed by his owner. He spent 5 weeks with us until his new family came for him on June 1st. He now has a new name to go with his new life: Forrest (like Gump). Forrest was a staff and volunteer favorite having spent so much time in the shelter and we’re thrilled he’s found his match!

Forrest is doing AMAZING. He has so much love and all the attention (which he LOVES) in the world.
Hes a big time ball of energy so action shots don’t really work for this one. He has a lot more fun than the pictures make it look!
