Marlee (aka Betty White)

A year ago today (July 1st) we brought home our little Marlee (aka Betty White). It was love at first sight when we saw her, even though someone had a deposit on her, we put a second one on her hoping someone wouldn’t pick her up, but they did. So we continued to come back daily to find another Marlee (aka Betty White) but we couldn’t find the love for another kitten like we did for her. One day after work I stopped to check out the kittens and I walk in and see this white fur ball, my heart started to race. I asked the volunteer if that cutie was taken and she said, ‘Well, this is Betty White,’ and I said, “Betty White – the kitten that was here and adopted?!’ and she said yes, the owner brought her back because she became ill. I walked up to the desk and they gave me the details and I instantly put another deposit on her. We checked on her daily to see if she was getting better and four days later we were able to bring her home. She is the most lovable, fun, energetic sweetheart. She loves to give kisses, loves to play with the teenage kids and doesn’t like to stay home alone overnight, so she goes with us when we go camping and we make sure we are not gone a long period of time ’cause she will let us know she isn’t happy. Thank you so much, Tri-County Humane Society!

Thank YOU to Marlee (aka Betty White’s) new family, for adopting. Between cuddles and camping trips, it sounds like Betty White’s life is as fun as any sitcom!
