Lovie, now Disco

Today’s Feel Good Fur-Day is about a young cat who overcame some early health challenges to find his groove.
The kitten we called “Lovie” arrived at Tri-County Humane Society with siblings in August 2025. He found his match in October, and the now 8-month-old cat has been renamed Disco.
“He absolutely is a loving little fella. He loves getting kisses and affection, always wants to be near us, and loves to annoy his older cat brother. He’s also very playful and mischievous, which we love!”
Disco’s new family was planning on adopting an older cat, but they saw him making biscuits in his cage and decided to meet him. “We actually left, but ended up turning back to get him, and I’m very glad we did.”
While at TCHS, Disco, who previously was an outdoor kitten, had goopy eyes and other health issues, but he recovered. Cue “I Will Survive.”
“He’s very happy and otherwise healthy now, though, and we are so grateful for the care he received with your organization.” We respect your hustle, Disco – keep enjoying life with your new family!
