Lewis, now Felix

Life is challenging. Sometimes it helps to have a big brother showing you the ropes.
The Jack Russell mix puppy we called Lewis arrived in early February at Tri-County Humane Society with two siblings. He was adopted only a few days later and renamed Felix. His new home came with a 4-year-old boxer brother, and while they’re mismatched in size, they are best friends.
The now 5-month-old Felix “loves his naps and likes to cuddle. He sleeps in bed with us every night, where he feels most comfortable, and does not whine and sleeps all night for us. He is doing very well on house training and really does not have too many accidents in the house. I think a lot of this results from having a big brother to learn from.”
And a big brother to play with, of course. “The other day, he and our boxer were running around the house trading off toys like handing off the baton in a relay race.”
Felix will have a busy summer ahead of him – his family is excited to take him on camping trips up north and on the boat. Have a great time, Felix!
