The kitten known as “Itty” was adopted in early July. One of his new humans reached out recently to proudly show off how big he’s grown. Itty is now Macareno, but his family mostly calls him Maca.

“From the beginning, he always liked to accompany my daughter at nap time.” Now, the pair are best friends. “My daughter, when she wakes up, the first thing she does is look for him.”

While Maca’s new home isn’t so quiet anymore, that’s more than OK with his new family.

“He is no longer just a cat – he is a member of the family that gives us smiles and joy.”
