Adoptions can have an impact far beyond the immediate family – today’s Feel Good Fur-Day was submitted by the pup’s proud “aunt”!

In June 2024, a puppy we called Granada arrived at Tri-County Humane Society. Two weeks later, she was adopted. Her name is now App, and her aunt is full of superlatives for her!

“If there was a ‘Miss Universe Pageant’ for canines, our darling girl App would steal the show! She’d seize the ‘Miss Congeniality’ award because she is loved by everyone. (Except on the rare occasion when her two senior sisters decide they have had enough fun and games for the day). App’s dreamy brown eyes and four pulchritudinous white paws would earn her the ‘Most Photogenic’ award. App is so smart she’d also be awarded a post-secondary scholarship. App became a much-loved family member faster than she can obliterate a durable squeaky toy, which is about two days. Thank you, TCHS, for this award-winning dog!”
