The 6-year-old cat known as Ginger arrived at the shelter in late December with some feline friends. He was adopted almost a month later, and he’s now Kevin McMeowlister. That’s a nod to Kevin McCallister, who was played by Macaulay Culkin in “Home Alone.”

Kevin’s new family took their time introducing him to the household, including his dog brother, Waffles. “A very slow transition moving at his pace was our key to success.” Now Kevin and Waffles are as thick as thieves – or like Harry and Marv from “Home Alone”!

“His true goofy personality is really coming out with time. He is the perfect addition to our family!” And unlike Kevin McCallister, we know this adorable Kevin would never wish for his family to disappear.
