The cat known as Casper arrived at TCHS in February and was adopted about a week later. The now 1-year-old cat has been renamed Blaze, which matches his reddish coloring and his bold yet laid-back personality.

“Blaze has made himself completely at home at our house! He’s got other cat and dog brothers and sisters – and he LOVES them all!” The list of things Blaze loves is long: visitors, snuggles, treats, and sometimes people food. (“I blame my husband for that one, LOL.”)

Blaze is ultimately a chill cat who isn’t fazed by much – but he must be included!

“He has chosen my husband as ‘his person’ and will follow him around the house wherever he goes. He always wants to be a part of any activity happening in the house. He has also learned how to open the barn doors in our house. If he hasn’t followed you into the room already, he will nudge the door open with his head and make his entrance like he’s the king of everything he sees.”
