Bubble Butt
This Happy Tail is about a princess who turned out to be a prince, and acquired many new names along the royal journey! Princess Bubble Gum came to Tri-County Humane Society as a kitten in November 2017. Well, it turned out she was a he, and thus dubbed simply Bubble Gum. Bubble Gum was adorable but came with a few medical issues – he had trouble defecating because he had strictures. Our animal care manager personally took delicate care of him. We also want to thank Dr. Traci Diggs of St. Joe Vet Clinic and Advanced Care Pet Hospital for helping Bubble Gum with his bottom issues!
Bubble Gum’s rear started protruding a little, bestowing upon him yet another silly name: Bubble Butt. Slowly he started to get better and embrace his playful kitten nature. He even went to visit area preschoolers during their Baby Animal Month unit. (Staff used his original name “Bubble Gum” instead of Bubble Butt to keep the giggles at bay).
He was finally deemed ready for adoption, and he found his new home in April. A report from Dr. Traci, who continues to treat him, indicated he is doing well. And he has yet another new name. Introducing his majesty: Ernie Bubble Gum!
