What’s better than one TCHS adoption? Two, of course! We love it when TCHS animal friends end up in a home together.

Shadow and Lunar are besties and lookalike brothers who arrived at the shelter in mid-May. The bond between these 2-year-old cats became even more evident when Shadow got adopted before Lunar.

Now, to be clear, many adopters can’t take on pairs of animal friends, and that’s just fine! Adopted animals certainly make new friends. Still, we’re happy these two brothers found each other again.

“When we adopted Shadow, we didn’t think we’d have enough to also adopt his brother, Lunar. After two weeks, we noticed Shadow was pretty lonely, and we saw that Lunar was still available for adoption, so we picked him up and brought him home. When we first let him out of the carrier, Shadow came running to him, and they’ve been inseparable ever since! They especially love looking out of the patio and bedroom windows together, wrestling with each other, and taking naps on top of our cupboards. They always seem to find ways to keep each other entertained.”

We hope these two brothers keep each other entertained for many years to come!
