A trio of rats
Tri-County Humane Society took in seven male rats in mid-July. Rats are very social creatures, so we like to adopt out same-sex rats in pairs or groups. Today’s Feel Good Fur-Day is about a family who adopted three of the boys a few days after their arrival. The three rats are loving their new digs!
Pablo (formerly Fortunado), Aristotle (Temple), and Magellan (Ponyboy) spend their days cuddling together in a hammock and their nights exploring the house by happily hanging out in sweatshirt pockets. Their favorite snacks are fresh strawberries and green beans.
“They each have their own personalities. Pablo is a hungry little guy who loves to burrow in a pocket whenever he can! Magellan is so bold and constantly exploring! And Aristotle is the friendliest buddy who likes to sit on our shoulder. We love our new sweet and snuggly friends!” Thank you to the adopters for giving this terrific trio a great home.
