We believe in the human-animal bond and exist to support Central Minnesota with quality adoption and education services. We would love to have your help in carrying out a mission that's way beyond just a statement - it's why we've done what we've done for 45-plus years.
Tri-County Humane Society opened our new, expanded shelter in September 2020, and we were able to do so without borrowing any money! However, just because the building is open doesn't mean our work is done - we'll need to continue to help homeless animals get a second (or third) chance for decades to come. That's where you come in.
By helping support our mission, you'll help our larger community, too. The animals may be why we do what we do, but generous people like you are why we can do it well. Need convincing? We love to share our story (3,700 animals placed in 2020 and a 94 percent placement rate are among the highlights). We just need generous people like you to ensure that story stays a happy one.

If you would like a tour of this brand-new facility (and a conversation about how you can help us into the future), please contact us - we are eager to show it off!
NOTE: If you need to rehome a pet, an appointment is required; please call us at 320-252-0896 to make one. Please expect there may be a weeks-long wait due to the volume of animals needing our services. Thank you for understanding.
Tri-County Humane Society requires everyone who visits the shelter to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
