About

Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  THIS is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Butterscotch

Butterscotch

This story has a sweet ending for a kitty with a sweet name.

Butterscotch, a young adult cat, came in mid-June through our contract with the city of St. Cloud (she arrived with her friend, Buttercup). Butterscotch was the more independent of the two kitties – but she was still a sweet kitty who loved attention. Her stay at the shelter wasn’t long – she was adopted roughly a week later.

Here’s a report from her new family:

“Butterscotch is a great fit to the family. Her and my daughter are best friends, pretty much inseparable, and she's starting to get along with her big sister Lucy who we also adopted from Tri-County a few months ago.”
