About

Adoption Stories

We receive wonderful stories of TCHS alumni on a regular basis, and we want to offer our sincere thanks to all who take the time to share them with us. We are invested in each and every pet we care for, and we want the best for them!  THIS is why we do what we do. Why you give, volunteer, adopt, and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Séance (now Luna)

Séance (now Luna)

Here is a story about a kitten who is a good fit for her new family!

Séance came with her five siblings in May as part of an unplanned litter. She spent some time in a foster home to get bigger, and eventually returned to the shelter when she was ready to be spayed and then adopted – which happened in early June.

Her new adopter says the kitty – now named Luna and about four months old – is doing great in the home – even if she used to want attention at 5:45 a.m.! (Many of us know kittens are the best alarm clock!) Here’s their story:
