Fred, now Tubbo

We have this overwhelming urge to say “Leapin’ Lizards!”  This adoption story is about a little lizard who may not be a leaper, but he’s certainly livin’ large in his new home!  Here’s a message from his family:

“Meet Tubbo, the leopard gecko formerly known as Fred. Tubbo came into the shelter this past January. Upon arrival he was reluctant to be handled, and a bit feisty. He also had shed stuck to his feet and a unique-looking tail due to his tail dropping at a young age. When we first saw Tubbo, we knew we had to bring him into our family. With our experience with the care of leopard geckos, he quickly found his forever home. It took only a few days of persistence and patience from the resident 13-year-old hand feeding Tubbo for him to become friendly and docile. Now Tubbo enjoys the finer things in life like basking on rocks, snacking on crickets and meal worms, and he loves to hang out and watch YouTube with the resident kids!”
