Jimmy and Jumpy (now Orson and Birch)

Celebrate Adopt a Rabbit Month (February) with this adoption story of two bunnies who waited almost two months to find a home – but in the end they got to go home together, and boy, have they hit the jackpot!

Jimmy and Jumpy are two 3-year-old Holland Lop mixes who came to us in late November. After waiting for what seemed like a very long time to find their adopter, the siblings were adopted by a TCHS junior volunteer’s family. Grace, the junior volunteer, takes pet photos for TCHS, so you can be sure the two bunnies – now named Orson and Birch – will be photo models for the foreseeable future!

“They have made new friends with my two cats and are enjoying each other’s company,” Grace writes. They “seem glad that they are in this new journey together. They give each other comfort and company.  These two bring so much joy to our household!”
